Boost by Dragon.
At a mere 90 years of age Crackaraana Zhaylon was far too young for the whole 'flying around and kidnapping princesses' business, but he had gone and done it anyway. Now his dragon eyes narrowed skeptically as he took in the little fat creature that stood confused before him in his cave. So this was a princess? He hadn't made a mistake? She did have a princess crown—and the pink dress, but... The form wasn't right was it? He rummaged through his books. Ah, there it was, "Human affairs - budget edition".
He quickly flipped to the Nobles and Royalty section, looked at a picture of an elegant slender princess, then at his princess, then back again. Hmmm.
—"If you're gonna eat me then just get on with it..." she interrupted in a comically squeaky voice, seeming really rather resigned.
Ew, why? He had caught a star griffon just the other day and its scrumptious magical meat would last him at least a week. A princess was something that a proper Dragon would only threaten to eat. Why eat a bug? Nasty.
Frowning he studied his captive more closely. Something was definitely wrong here. Her hair was terribly frizzled—well, that was his fault, but when he looked down at her he noticed a bald spot circled by her tiara. That wasn't his fault. She kind of looked and sounded like a baby-shaped middle aged monastery clerk. In a princess dress. And something felt off about her. He could smell it.
—"How... old are you?" he asked in a voice that rumbled in the cave.
—"I'm. Twenty. Six." she harrumphed, planting her chubby baby fists on her hip, seeming tired of the question.
Something was definitely wrong here. An ideal princess was supposed to be fourteen to seventeen. This one's outfit was right but pretty much everything else was wrong.
Maybe he was overthinking things. He would just have to wait and see.
After digging out a prison cell for her and arranging food, he waited perched outside of the cave for all to see. He waited for two days. Three days. Four days. No one came. He had picked a rather obvious cave within the borders of the kingdom, but no one came. Where was the hero or army he could test his might against or extort for gold?
Ah, gold—mountains of gold and fields of bone and broken swords, his massive shadow sweeping over it all. Aah. So nice. So nice.
Crackaraana Zhaylon woke from his sleep. Where was he? Empty green fields spread out below his temporary mountain lair. It seemed almost two weeks had passed according to his chrono-stone. He blinked. Ah, right, the princess business. Had she starved to death? Refused the fried star griffon meat? It was pretty strong stuff after all. Wouldn't even spoil.
He sauntered into the cave and found the princess asleep in her cell. She hadn't refused the meat and in fact looked even fatter. Dangerously so.
Crackaraana Zhaylon searched his inventory space and took out a lens. After charging it with a bit of mana he held it like a monocle, observing the bloated form of the princess filtering through.

Wow, she sure had enemies.
—o—
When Lapláz Nimonica woke up in her cell she couldn't believe any of her senses. Her pink dress had deflated like a sack over her body. And it was too short. While she probably had lost some mass, a lot of it had been converted into height, bone and muscle. If she had been 140 kilos before, she might be 90 now. She looked like a muscle woman from a circus troupe. Her hair had grown out too, though it remained a mess.
Her whole life was a mess.
She was the daughter of the late first queen, and the third princess of her kingdom. Because of her wits there had been talk of letting her inherit the throne, but then when she was twelve everything had changed. All of a sudden her life became miserable and no one took her side except for a maid who always brought her sweets. Too late she realized that the maid also was conspiring to fatten her to death. She went on a diet, but at most she was able to slow down the growth. What was worse, she only ever grew sideways and didn't seem to age... aside from turning bald.
But she persisted despite all this, outmanouvering her hidden antagonists whenever she could. As the years passed she came in contact with an ally, and it was on her way to meet this ally that a double disaster had struck. First she overheard the escorting guards planning to dispose of her, taking a detour into bandit territory. Then this dragon had struck.
And now she wasn't sure whether she should curse the thing or not.
In the end she did, because her favourite hairpin had been scorched and cracked.
—"Stupid dragon!" she muttered.
—"Aw, just call me Zhay." a voice said.
She whinced.
